Honoring Theatre SilCo's LEgacy

The 1995 Society, named for the year of the Theatre’s founding, recognizes donors who generously remember the organization in their estate plans. Estate gifts by members of the 1995 Society are critical to the long-term sustainability of Theatre SilCo, and honor the founding vision. These gifts ensure that the SilCo experience continues to enrich the lives of every resident and visitor to Summit County.

A History of Transformation

In 1995, the Lake Dillon Foundation for the Performing Arts merged with Black Coffee Theatre to become the Lake Dillon Theatre Company (LDTC). Soon after, the company moved into an historic building built in 1899, which once served as the Dillon Town Hall. In the following decades, the organization grew from a seasonal amateur community theatre into a successful professional theatre company called Theatre SilCo, and is now the most transformative theatre in the Rocky Mountains.
