At the LDTC Scene Shop, we can always use help building, installing, and arranging our theatre spaces. We periodically have Volunteer Build Days where we do everything from construct scenery pieces to install seating risers to hanging stage curtains.
Strike Days are all about tearing the old set down, recycling what needs to be saved, and trashing the things that need to get out of the way for the next production.
If you have experience in basic carpentry, experience with power tools or general construction experience (from hobbyist to engineer) we have a place for you on the Scenic Construction team.
If you are more comfortable with a paint roller or a brush, or can move things from one place to another, there are opportunities for you too on the General Theatre Volunteers, where you can find whats right for your theatrical passions, especially if you’re not sure how you might want to help!
