We’re seeking candidates with strong customer experience to support our theatre patrons with all of their Box Office needs through our Ticket Agent position. As a Ticket Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patrons and guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
We are a small organization looking for passionate individuals to help us deliver the very best experience possible. Theatre SilCo’s Box Office is open Tuesday – Sunday 1pm – 4pm, unless there is a performance running. On performance days the Box Office is open 1pm – until showtime, typically at 7pm. Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide outstanding customer service to patrons and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. The Ticket Agent role is a part-time position and has the potential to be full time during the summer.
- Selling tickets, subscriptions, and managing reservations
- Assist with ticket information, including up-selling of tickets by phone, at the ticket counter, and on the night of the show
- Distribute information about and pertaining to Theatre SilCo and other partners at the ticket counter through outbound courtesy calls
- Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, labeling/stuffing envelopes, processing tickets, and more
- Answering phones and responding to emails in a timely manner
- Setting up for the night of a performance, printing reports, attendee list, and more
Requirements:
- Experience providing superior customer service in person and over the phone
- Comfortable using computers, and able to learn the ticketing software to complete all ticket transactions.
- Excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and problem solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
Previous experience working in a Box Office environment and customer service environment preferred but not required.
Compensation: $20 hourly.
