Casey, a struggling Elvis impersonator adorned in a sequin jumpsuit, finds his world turned upside down when he loses his gig, faces overdue rent, and discovers his wife is expecting a baby. As Elvis exits the scene and a drag show takes over, Casey must transform and embrace a newfound stage identity in order to survive. Filled with witty banter, catchy tunes, and unexpected twists, serves up both laughter and insight.

(he/him) (Casey) Jake makes his Theatre SilCo debut in The Legend of Georgia McBride. His regional theater credits include The Inheritance at ZACH Theatre (Toby Darling). Additional credits feature Echoes in the Garden with American Bard Theater (Henry), Zounds at Edinburgh Fringe (Dionysus), and Swipe with TaDa Theater (Brad). An Atlanta native, Jake played baseball through his freshman year of college before graduating from Atlantic Acting School in New York City, where he currently resides. Much love to his entire family, all his amazing friends and teachers. Special shout-out to his sister Lilly for inspiring him to follow in her footsteps.

Petrina is a member of the People's Theatre Company a part of the People's Theatre Project in New York as well as a teaching artist. She is grateful to be doing this play here and visiting Denver for the first time.
