Para servir a nuestra comunidad y ofrecer clases de teatro de gran calidad a los estudiantes de escuela primaria del condado Summit, el Teatro SilCo ofrece un programa de teatro bilingüe sin costo a las familias ni a las escuelas. Nuestro equipo está dedicado a apoyar a nuestras familias trabajadoras y a contribuir a la salud y perdurabilidad de nuestra comunidad, a ofrecer un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro, equitativo, creativo, y culturalmente diverso para nuestros jóvenes

Programa Extracurricular

El plan de estudio está diseñado para fortalecer habilidades teatrales que incluyen:

Para inscribir a su estudiante en el programa VIVO, oprima el botón abajo. Puede inscribir a su estudiante cualquier día de la semana. Puesto que tenemos cupos limitados, le pedimos que solo inscriba a su estudiante los días que necesite el servicio. Encontrará las reglas y pólizas en lo que termine la inscripción.

To better serve the community in which we live and provide high class theatre education to elementary students in Summit County, Theatre SilCo offers a Dual Language Theatre Program at no cost to our families and schools. Our team is firmly committed to supporting our local working families and contributing to the health and sustainability of our community by providing an equitable, safe, creative, and culturally diverse learning environment for our youth.

VIVO – After School Theatre Program

Classes begin at the end of school each day through 5:30pm every Monday through Friday (following SSD calendar). Theatre SilCo also offers limited transportation to school neighborhoods.

Our VIVO program will introduce and strengthen skills that include:

  • Team work
  • Accountability
  • Discipline
  • Engage imagination and creativity
  • Foster curiosity, tolerance, kindness
  • Cultural awareness
  • Problem solving
  • Critical thinking
  • Self-expression
  • Public speaking

To sign up your student for this program click the button below. You may sign your student up for any amount of days during the week. Since spaces are limited, we ask that you sign your student up for days you need and that they attend on those days. Rules/regulations will be detailed in the forms provided once registered.

Matthias Knox Bolon

Matthias (he/they) is an animated bundle of unintentional humor and strange facts. He has a BA and MA in Theatre & Performance Studies (CU Boulder), and most recently graduated with his MFA in Shakespeare & Performance (Mary Baldwin University). Yes, he is a huge nerd. Matthias has a passion for creating community through theatrical collaboration and devising, and is ecstatic to be joining Theatre Silco as a VIVO teaching artist! A few treasured past projects include being the co-director/playwright/Storyteller role in the educational tour of Pericles for Young Audiences (Streetlight Shakespeare Ensemble), Edward Tulane/Musician in The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (CU Educational Outreach Tour), and Wayne Hopkins in Puffs (Silver Line Theatre Exchange). He is also a professional intimacy choreographer, a few credits include: Whirlwind (world premiere), Much Ado About Nothing (Endstation Theatre Company); Taming of the Shrew (Mortal Fools Collective); Twelfth Night (Bucknell University); Troilus & Cressida, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Meadowlark Shakespeare Players). Frankie Chuter

Frankie Chuter (Vivo Teaching/Performance Artist): Frankie is excited to be making his
debut season with Theatre SilCo! Frankie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
Acting at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. His hobbies
include playing guitar, listening to his record collection, and watching classic films. Raised
in Houston, TX, Frankie has a passion for musical theatre, comedy, and sketch writing. His
most recent credits include: Rolf (The Sound of Music), Egeus (A Midsummer Night's
Dream), and Aaron (Strange Fruit).

Jacklynn Haughn

Jacklynn Haughn is originally from Peoria, Az and is an alumni of the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.A. in musical theater. She is currently a VIVO Teaching Artist here at Theater SilCo and is so excited to be a part of this wonderful team. Some of her favorite roles include Judge Prudence in The True Story of the Three Little Pigs (Florida Repertory Theater), U/S Laura in Beehive (Florida Repertory Theater), Jo March in Little Women (UNR), and Holly in Siamsa (GSR). She is honored to have been the 3rd place winner in The 2022 International Classical Singers Competition in the musical theater pre-professional division. A huge thank you to her parents, her sister, the Bordenkirchers, her partner, her previous professors and the rest of her family for their constant support as she chases her dreams! @jacklynnhaughn
