Jamie Mattocks

Jamie is thrilled to be making her Lake Dillon Theatre debut! She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from New World Conservatory/University of Florida in Miami, FL. Theatre credits include: The Actor’s Playhouse, The Promethean Theatre, Broward Center for the Performing Arts, The Kelsey Theatre, Florida Stage, the Adrienne Arsht Center, and the Tower Theatre as Judy Garland in her one-person show, ‘Elegies for Frances G.’. She has appeared onstage in concert at the Isle Casino, the Breakers Palm Beach, and in multiple cabaret venues, including the Vermont, Los Angeles, as well as The Hard Rock Live with Clay Aiken. She is also a prolific commercial and television actress, proud member SAG-AFTRA. Jamie has served as director and choreographer of countless shows for children and adults. She was the Artistic Director of Premier Musical Theatre in Los Angeles before founding PlayWell Performing Arts in Los Angeles, CA, West Palm Beach, FL, and Taylor, TX to provide quality, uplifting, positive educational experiences in an interdisciplinary performing arts setting committed to inspiring the next generation of young artists. PlayWell (and Jamie) now reside in the Austin, TX area, and look forward to the 2020 opening of PlayWell’s studio spaces and 890-seat theater!
