Theatre SilCo proudly announces 100 Women for the Arts, a dynamic and passionate group of women dedicated to honoring and uplifting women in the performing arts.

Empowering Women, Celebrating Theatre

Theatre SilCo’s 100 Women for the Arts initiative brings together a dynamic and passionate group of women dedicated to honoring and uplifting women in the performing arts. This inspiring collective offers women the unique opportunity to join forces in supporting artistic excellence, fostering a thriving community of creatives, and celebrating Theatre SilCo’s 30-year legacy.

On June 25, 2025, 100 Women for the Arts hosted its inaugural event. Each member of this visionary group contributed directly to advancing women’s voices in theatre by underwriting Theatre SilCo’s highly anticipated 2025 summer production of Steel Magnolias. This beloved play—a tribute to resilience, friendship, and the strength of women—shined even brighter as part of Theatre SilCo’s momentous 30th-anniversary season.

In addition to being honored for championing the arts, members gathered for a celebratory evening that proved to be as unforgettable as the cause itself. The celebration included a private dinner featuring Tony-nominated actress Emily Skinner, followed by an exclusive performance of Steel Magnolias on the Theatre SilCo stage, where the collective spirit of 100 Women was front and center in the audience.

Looking Ahead

Plans are underway for the next gathering of 100 Women for the Arts – a virtual gathering on November 12, 2025, with Lindsey Kasabian, Senior VP of Casting at Hulu Originals. Future events will continue to combine extraordinary artistic experiences with opportunities to celebrate women’s voices and create meaningful connections.

Join 100 Women for the Arts, and be part of a movement that uplifts women, strengthens the performing arts, and ensures Theatre SilCo’s legacy for the next generation of women.

Together, we can make a lasting impact—one voice, one story, and one stage at a time.
